Tehran: (Alt. 1100-1700m):

Now a day it is the capital of IRAN and in comparison with other cities in IRAN it is not so old.
It had been famous as BIRCH tree village; still you can find too many kind of this tree in Tehran.
In 18th century it was chosen as the capital of IRAN, airport is located in
the west of Tehran when you proceed from airport to the center of the Tehran.
you can see AZADI Monument built in 1971 It is now the symbol of Tehran.
Finding North in Tehran is not difficult all part of the North in Tehran is
ALBORZ mountain range and you can find it very easily.
Tehran today is quit modern city and covers an area of 1500 Sq Km.
As the capital is the most populated and the center of cultural, Economical, political and social activities.

TEHRAN'S points of interest:

*- Imam Khomeini tomb
*- The crown Jewels of IRAN are housed in the Central Bank.
*- The Sadabad complex include palaces of the kings.
*- The Archeological museum( it contains articles dating back to 1500BC)
(Sumerian Period) and very fine collection of Islamic Art.
*- Bazar is another interesting points for all tourist.
*- Jamshidieh Park located in Niavaran district, at the food of kolakchal
mountain, the Jamshidieh Park occupies an area of about 120000 Sqm.
